'As a GCSE History teacher covering the Cold War, I found Marc’s Beatles workshop to be an excellent addition to our curriculum and helped students build their knowledge beyond the course specification. His session brilliantly brought the period to life, helping students develop a genuine sense of time and place.

While focusing on the Beatles, Marc skilfully wove in wider themes of Cold War culture, ideologies, and the fears that defined the era. This  gave students a deeper understanding of the historical context in an engaging and accessible way.

Marc’s delivery was energetic and captivating throughout; the live performances of classic Beatles' songs were a particular highlight and really helped to immerse the students in the atmosphere of the 1960s. The students were fully engaged from start to finish and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
